Skateboard Style – The Woodlands and Spring Senior Photographer

It’s always amazing when my seniors bring along something unique or interesting to photograph, like their sports gear or fave books. But this senior took it up a level with some action style shots on his skateboard, which was so much fun I was sad when the sun started to set and we had to call it a wrap! College Graduation Portraits – The Woodlands Photographer

This beautiful Sam Houston University student graduated with her diploma and landed a great job as a teacher, and she and her family chose to celebrate this huge achievement with a senior style portrait session complete with my hair and make up artist. This is the  first half of her session, around the building area of the location in Spring before moving out into the field for a styled boho session. She chose some beautiful outfits (check out those hot heels!) and brought some fun props, like the flag from her alma mater (love that cute pose!). I had a great time working with this college grad for her special portraits as she moved out into the great big world to start her new career!

When it comes to senior photoshoots, boys and girls tend to favor different types of locations.  A large park or a more urban style location is often preferred by the boys as opposed to a field of flowers, since it’s simpler and has more steps for sitting on, which is more comfortable with their posing style.

This senior session is a perfect example of a how the darker, moodier shadows you get from a park with tall trees and darker backdrops make for a great location for a senior boy portrait session.
