My vision for clients is to create portraits that utilize the beauty of the environment, infused with light. I enjoy being outdoors and my work shows the warmth and richness of nature. I like to capture my subjects in quiet moments, as well as in moments of joy and laughter.
As a mother, I know how important it is to have portraits of us with our children, and to have them printed on fine quality paper that will last a lifetime. As an artist, I also know that it’s also very important that those photographs be unique to us, artistic and creative.
I traveled the world with my camera and met my husband while living in South Korea. Together we moved around the world. When we transferred to the Spring/Woodlands area in 2007 we fell in love with it here and had our two little ones.
Photography has been with me since I was 13 years old. I’m fascinated by light, and using light and shadows to tell stories and evoke emotion is the philosophy behind my portraiture. I still shoot film for personal work and had the opportunity to show my black and white film work at Lone Star College Montgomery in October 2014 at the “Unrestricted Boundaries” exhibition. I’ve also had some of my film work displayed at art galleries and in competition. To see more of my Featured Work, visit my Features/Awards Page here.
I am booking new sessions for 2016. Email [email protected] or use the CONTACT FORM.
